Pure Trade Appoints Dino Chan to Drive Primary Packaging Expansion

Pure Trade, headquartered in Paris and known for its expertise in designing high-end secondary packaging, luggage items, promotional accessories, and textile goods, is now aiming to expand its presence in the primary packaging market, specifically targeting the beauty sector.

To ensure the same level of excellence in primary packaging as in its other projects, Pure Trade has appointed Dino Chan as Senior Manager of Product Compliance. Chan, with over 30 years of experience in the health, beauty, and cosmetics industry, brings a wealth of expertise in product compliance, social compliance, quality assurance, product design, and engineering. He joins the Pure Trade Asia team, led by Mona Lee, with the mandate to oversee the design, engineering, and compliance aspects of primary packaging.

Stefane Ladous, CEO of Pure Trade, emphasized the importance of primary packaging, noting that it goes beyond mere containment, setting high standards in functionality, aesthetics, hygiene, regulations, and environmental sustainability. With Chan’s extensive background, Pure Trade aims to deliver premium primary packaging solutions to brands and consumers, ensuring excellence from material selection to user experience.

Founded nearly three decades ago, Pure Trade currently employs 80 individuals and generates a turnover of 87 million euros. Operating under a fabless model, the company was acquired by German private equity firm AGIC Capital in July, with plans to accelerate global growth, particularly in the US and Asia-Pacific regions.
